Ditch plastic for real

Really cutting down on plastic

Plastic that is not handled properly is a major problem in our society today.

Garbage mountains are growing, the oceans are full of plastic, animals are harmed and die, and lots of toxins are spread in our nature.

Another side of the same coin is that we are quite dependent on plastic and plastic bags, what else should we put our garbage in, for example? A tough nut to crack when you're trying to reduce your plastic consumption!

Norwegian BioBag has a good solution, we think!

They have developed a "plastic" that is based on corn starch and is completely biodegradable. BioBag leaves no trace in nature but should of course NOT be thrown out in forests and fields but composted. The nice thing about it is that it is home compostable, so you can compost it yourself, it does not require industrial composting to break down the bag. For example, the dog waste bag is gone / composted in 40 days in a functioning home compost.

Food waste can be placed in a biobag and then directly in the compost, the bag breaks down completely!

BioBag is constantly looking for the best raw materials and production methods. BioBag's explicit goal is to use as many renewable resources as possible in its products, to ensure the least possible environmental impact.
