Ljung skincare is organic, locally produced, and environmentally friendly skincare manufactured in the heart of Lapland.
Ljung skincare has been working with natural skincare based on severe skin problems since 1994. Today, Ljung has extensive knowledge in the field. By utilizing the positive effects that vegetable raw materials have on the skin and with inspiration from nature's healing plants, Ljung continues to develop the production of organic skincare products in Sorsele, Västerbotten.
Ljung's skincare products help the skin stay healthy, soft, and supple with a unique combination of organic oils and herbs that protect and moisturize the skin naturally.
Ljung is very careful with the quality of the raw materials and uses ECO Cert controlled organically grown raw materials, cold-pressed oils, active herbs, and fragrances from organic essential oils in our products. Active substances such as herbal extracts and vitamins are always added below 40 degrees Celsius, which is the basis for our products having such a good effect.
Ljung's products contain no mineral oils, sulfates, GMOs, PEGs, parabens, silicones, or artificial fragrances and colorants. The products are vegan, but in some products, we use beeswax from Swedish beekeeping.
Ljung's products are not tested on animals.
Manufacturing takes place according to GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice), and the products are registered with the Swedish Medical Products Agency and CPNP (Cosmetic Product Notification Portal).

Ljung's skincare products are made from organically grown plant-based raw materials that are fully biodegradable and contribute to a better environment.
They are of high quality and meet the requirements for certifications available on the market today. Ljung is a small local manufacturer that has chosen not to certify our products yet, as it is a high cost without uniform guidelines, which ultimately is added to the price for the customer.
All of Ljung's packaging is recyclable, and we have opted out of outer packaging for environmental reasons. How the content of a product is exposed is of great importance, and products in transparent bottles pose a greater risk of faster rancidity. Ljung has therefore chosen to use opaque packaging for its products.
Ljung primarily uses airless packaging that protects the products from sunlight, is hygienic, and empties the bottle completely.
