Today, the world’s most expensive soap is being launched by the family-owned soap factory Västerbottenssåpa in Vilhelmina in northern Sweden. For those who can afford to fork out the 105,000 kronor (approx. 11,000 euros), a full-size sauna is included in the deal.
The exclusive soap is manufactured for the purpose of efficient and ecofriendly cleaning of the entire interior of a typical Scandinavian-style sauna. It has a wonderful scent of juniper tree and moisturise all kinds of wood. The soap, which has a low dosage of water and lasts much longer than average cleaning soaps, is delivered in a 1 litre bottle with a dosing pump.
A 15 square-metre timber sauna is also included in the price.
The soap is manufactured by the family-owned soap factory Västerbottenssåpa in the village of Siksjönäs in Vilhelmina Municipality, Sweden. The sauna is built by carptenter Jimmy Prång in the neighbouring village of Dikanäs. Mr Prång will begin creating the sauna the same moment the soap is ordered from Västerbottenssåpa’s online shop.
The usual delivery time (2-3 days) and shipping costs (55 kronor) cannot be guaranteed when purchasing this item. Delivery and shipping costs will be individually arranged between suppliers and clients.
