Soap is gentle on both you who cleans, the substrate and the environment. Soap is easily biodegradable, chemically speaking soap is a compound of fatty acids and not harmful at all.

Soap is basic, a cleaning agent and in the same way that you shouldn't eat soap, you shouldn't eat soap either - it's not a food but that doesn't mean that it's dangerous to clean with soap, quite the opposite. Soaps without additives and perfume are an especially good environmental choice.

If you choose soap, bicarbonate and vinegar for cleaning at home, you have made some really good environmental choices.
