About the company
We are a small family-owned company in the interior of Västerbotten. We are located in Vilhelmina, a large, small mountain municipality with a border with Norway.
Vilhelmina is beautifully situated by Lake Volg with a view towards Blaikfjället and with the 6 mile long Malgomajsjön just above the community. Here we make soap according to a recipe that comes from great-grandmother Fredrika Helmersson and can be traced back as far as 1926, but it is probably much older than that.
It is an old idea and an old recipe, but today circular models and recycling are highly relevant. In the climate change work, recycling and circular systems are a very large part. Cleaning with our circular products will not solve all our environmental and climate problems, but it is a good start and it is also quite an easy thing to do. Replace your cleaning products with products from Västerbottenssoap and become a little more climate-smart while significantly improving your indoor environment.
We who run the company are called Sara & Magnus Idenfors and we are passionate about recycling and environmentally friendly cleaning.
