Soap for the outdoors, Juniper Scent, Can 2.5 L
Trallsåpa
Har använt såpan i några år nu. Ger ett mycket fint silvergrått resultat över tid. Har bara använt detta till trallen sedan den var ny.

Our classic, uni-scented liquid soap in a large canister, suitable for cleaning outdoors and large surfaces.
An overgreased soap like this is perfect for all cleaning where the dirt is greasy or heavy as it often is in the garage or stable. Terraces and patios often get dirty with algae, mold, soil and other things from the outdoor environment, to get rid of that type of dirt, an alkaline and greasy soap is suitable. It is particularly suitable for cleaning and caring for surfaces of natural materials, such as wood and stone, due to its regreasing properties.
The trall soap is tough against all types of stains and coatings but gentle on the skin and the environment.
The can contains liquid, concentrated soap that effectively dissolves stains and is naturally antibacterial. The juniper scent is produced with juniper bushes in Västerbotten as a model.

What makes Västerbottens soap different from "regular" soaps that you buy in the grocery store?
Västerbotten soap has similar properties to a linseed oil soap, which is thus an overfatted soap. Other soaps that you buy in e.g. the grocery store is not overfat and therefore not as efficient. Soaps and soaps have varying amounts of excess oils and fats, that is, the part of fat that remains after saponification. Västerbottens soap has a larger surplus and is therefore extra caring and re-greasing.

A story of 100 years of sustainable soap making
Let us tell you how it all comes together
Because the soap is made from recycled raw materials, i.e. is circular, the CO2 emissions for the product are very low. A bottle of soap including production, packaging and transport has a CO2 emission of approx. 237 g. This can be compared to the emissions for producing 1 kg of palm oil, which is approx. 10 kg.
Rapeseed oil is produced as food.
Rapeseed oil is used in restaurants around the country
Västerbottenssåpa sources the oil that is purified in the small factory in Vilhelmina. It is then saponified into soap
The soap is sent to you by mail.
Contains only three ingredients
Our soap contains only water, soap (saponified rapeseed oil) 15-30% and any perfume

Common questions
Can I soap our trolley, which is made of pressure-treated wood?
Yes, you absolutely can. Your trolley will be pleasant to stay on, the surface will be silky smooth, slightly waxed and thus easy to keep clean. Pollen and dust will not stick as it can if the surface is a little "oily".
Does the soap affect the durability of my pressure-impregnated plank?
Well, it is the case that pressure-treated wood today usually maintains very good quality, and what determines how long a "printed" wood lasts is precisely the pressure-treated wood, not the surface treatment. But you can of course influence how the surface feels and looks, if you choose soap the surface will be matte and smooth. If you choose oil, it will be shinier.
Should I have cold or hot water when I scrub?
You cannot treat a dirty surface, so first you need to clean it. This is done with warm water and soap. With a coarse brush and soap, you can remove much more dirt than you think. It is possible to "save" things that actually look a bit hopeless from the start. Give it a try before you replace the trolley, it might work! Of course, everything depends on the starting situation and the material, but you are often pleasantly surprised by what a coarse levang and soap can do.
When the surface is clean, use cold water and soap. Use a soft brush and or a cloth. Mix approx. 1l of soap with 9l of water = scrubbing bucket. The water should feel greasy from the soap. Go over the trolley and let the soap soak in. You notice when the material stops absorbing the excess fat in the soap. A new plank or a plank made of a harder type of wood will absorb less than a soft and porous plank.
How much soap is needed?
It depends on the condition and type of wood. A porous, dried out pine plank absorbs more soap than a new pressure impregnated plank. But a rule of thumb is about 1l of soap / 30m2. Mix 1l of soap with 9l of water = a bucket, and the solution will be easy to handle.
Can I repent and oil after I soap?
Yes, of course you can. Soap is a type of soap not a type of oil, impregnation or paint. Should you find that you have too much soap in / on the trolley, just scrub once more with only warm water and a brush.
We have lasered wooden trellis on the balcony. Can we still use the soap?
It's a bit hard to answer without having seen it but you can definitely use the soap to clean the trolley. But whether it will absorb the excess fat and get that silky matte surface is hard to know. If the laser has clogged the wood, it will not absorb regardless of what product you put on it, but if it still "breathes" and absorbs the fat, you can certainly achieve a certain effect in any case. You will notice that quite quickly when you try it. But at least it will clean.
We usually wash clean and then oil once a year. Should you oil after the soap or is it not necessary?
Whether you oil or not is a matter of taste. The surface becomes matt and smooth if soaped. If you oil, that effect disappears and the surface becomes a little shinier. If the wood is pressure impregnated, the quality of the pressure impregnation is primarily decisive for durability and longevity. It is the surface that is affected by the type of treatment you choose.
How much soap do you need?
It is estimated that about 1 liter of soap is used per 30 m2
Can you use the soap for both treatment and cleaning or do you use something else for cleaning?
You can use our soap for both cleaning, then you use 1 dl of soap for 10 liters of VAMRT water and for treatment, then you use 1 liter of soap for 10 liters of COLD water.
Can you soap an impregnated deck?
It is fine to soap a trolley that has been impregnated.
