A blog about the deep-cleaning package
Sara IdenforsHow to use the deep-cleaning package
Everything included in the package:
➢ A laundry bag, 30 x 40 cm. Use the laundry bag for small or delicate garments that need washing. Bras with underwires should always be washed in a laundry bag, for example, as the metal underwire may come out and get caught in the machine. Garments with buttons, zippers, or other details that could damage other clothes can also benefit from being washed in a laundry bag.
➢ Bathroom Spray Bottle, Forest Scent
➢ Refill for Soap Spray, Bathroom x 2
Bathroom spray is used on surfaces such as porcelain and bathroom furniture. Spray it on and wipe it off. Store the bottle in the bathroom and use it there to reduce the risk of cross-contamination. Think of other products, such as toilet brushes and toilet cleaners… those items are never taken into the kitchen, so the soap bottle should not be carried around either. Everything in its proper place!
➢ Bathroom Soap, Forest Scent, 0.5 L Bottle

Use bathroom soap for heavier dirt in the bathroom: tile grout, toilet bowls, floor drains, P-traps, and other areas that require deep cleaning. A scrubbing brush and bathroom soap remove all grease and dirt of plant or animal origin.
➢ Baking Soda for Cleaning and Stain Removal

Baking soda is alkaline, mildly bleaching, and has a “scrubbing effect.” Use 1–2 tbsp per wash for white laundry, or wherever you want a mildly scrubbing effect when cleaning.

Limescale remover is an acidic product—the exact opposite of soap, you could say. It contains citric acid and dissolves limescale. The product has a gel-like consistency, allowing it to remain on a surface and work over time. Leave it on for at least 15–20 minutes, then remove it with a scouring sponge and lukewarm water. Repeat for heavy and old limescale deposits.
➢ Cellulose Sponge

A cleaning sponge made from natural materials, unlike the plastic used in "ordinary" sponges. Use it like any other cleaning sponge.

An "ordinary" dishcloth with the small difference that this one is compostable and can be put in the compost bin when you consider it worn out.
➢ Ecofiber Cloth, 100% Recycled Material

The Ecofiber Cloth is quite abrasive, at least as abrasive as the green side of a yellow-and-green sponge, BUT this one is made from recycled PET, bean pods, and nutshells.
Use soap and an Ecofiber Cloth together, and you can tackle even the most ingrained dirt.

A sturdy scrubbing brush with softer bristles. You can easily use it with soap and warm water to clean tiles AND grout—use it over the entire surface, no problem. Quick and easy.
➢ Dusting Wand

The Dusting Wand, a duster made from the same material as microfiber cloths, but with bristles instead. Fantastic for dusting moldings and bookshelves, for example.
➢ Refill for Soap Spray, Apple x 2
➢ Apple All-Purpose Cleaning Spray Bottle

Soap spray with apple scent. Fill the small refill bottle from the large bottle. Top up with water, and you have a perfect ready-to-use soap spray with a pH of approx. 9. Spray on and wipe off.
➢ All-purpose cleaning soap with apple scent, for floors. Pump bottle 0.5 l

A soap for the scrubbing bucket or for other cleaning that requires more thorough cleaning than spraying on and wiping off. Perfect for anything that has dried or stuck on, or that is stuck for any other reason. Use it together with an eco-fibre cloth and warm water, and there are few things you can't remove with that combination.
➢ Window-cleaning spray for glass and mirrors

Window cleaner is exactly what it sounds like: a cleaner for shiny surfaces. It is NOT a heavy-duty cleaner for when the car is muddy or when the outside of the window is covered in road dust, but is used as you would normally use a window cleaner. Spray on and wipe off with a window-cleaning cloth or lint-free paper. If you use too much spray, you will need to wipe more. Everything sprayed on needs to be wiped off. If you see a streak on the window, wipe once more with a dry cloth or paper.
➢ Universal detergent for white and coloured laundry 750 ml - New apple scent x 2

Universal detergent: use it like any other laundry detergent, but skip the fabric softener. Universal detergent makes laundry soft without fabric softener. You also don't need one detergent for coloured laundry and another for white laundry. Wash white laundry according to the care instructions on the garments and sort the laundry carefully. Add 1–2 tsp of baking soda to white laundry for a bleaching effect.
Coloured laundry detergent: do the same, but skip the baking soda.
One cap holds 40 ml. You need 35-> ml depending on the wash and the hardness of the water. See the label for the table.
