Deck soap

Deck soap can be used on patios or other wooden decking, outdoor furniture, pots, shovels, railings, and paving stones.

1 liter of deck soap covers approximately 30 m².

Soap the patio by following these steps:

1. Clean the decking of algae, lichen, and dirt using 10 l of warm water and 1 dl of decking soap.
2. Wipe or rinse off all the dirt.
3. Mix 1 litre of decking soap with 10 litres of cold water in a bucket.
4. Place the cleaning cloth in the bucket of soapy water.
5. Lay the cleaning cloth over the floor squeegee and go over the entire patio with the soapy water.
6. Repeat going over the entire patio with decking soap several times for a smoother surface. You will feel when the patio is saturated.

Soap the decking in spring before furnishing the patio. It’s easier to reach the entire surface with decking soap, and you’ll remove dirt and growth from autumn and winter.

The advantage of treating the deck with deck soap is that it creates a smooth, matte, soft surface that is easy to keep clean while preserving the wood’s natural appearance. Oiling creates a glossy, darker surface that can become sticky and more difficult to clean.

Matte and smooth surface = soap.

Glossy surface = oil.
