Coronavirus, Covid-19
  • Good hygiene is always important in cold and flu seasons. So, number one on the list is:
Wash your hands often and thoroughly with soap and water.
  • Consider which surfaces many people come into contact with often. Surfaces that many people touch should be cleaned often and with greater care.
    – Door handles
    – Armrests
    – Table surfaces
    – Counters
    – Faucets
    – Buttons on card terminals / ATMs
    – Toilets
  • At work:
    – Clean toilets, faucets, and other surfaces that come into frequent contact as above with disinfectant, surface disinfectant or soap and water.
    – Clean workstations, keyboards, mouse and armrests on office chairs.
    – Have your own pen, don't swap with colleagues or customers.
    – Also clean the copier, coffee maker, microwave ovens and other things used by several people.
  • Soap is effective against grease; fat dissolves fat and a superfatted soap is particularly effective at dissolving and cleaning greasy dirt.
  • Covid-19 has a lipid envelope; lipids are a collective name for a group of substances consisting of fats and fat-like substances.
  • A high pH value is another factor that makes soap effective against mold, fungi, bacteria and viruses.
