Pet hair
If you have pet hair in your car, it can be difficult to remove. The best option here is a Lint brush, a special brush for hair. Alternatively, you can use a rubber squeegee or window scraper to remove hair from textiles.

Wipe the dashboard with a soft cloth, a little lukewarm water and, if necessary, a little soap . Be careful with the radio display, GPS screens, etc.; they should preferably only be dusted. If they have grease stains, clean them with soft paper towels or a cloth, a drop of soap, and a little water. Take the utmost care here!

Dry leather seats/upholstery with soap and a soft cloth. It is a good idea to wipe them dry afterward.
You can remove stains from fabric seats with a soft sponge, a little lukewarm water, and soap. Press and dry, press and dry until the stain is gone.
Step 5:
Car seat belts can absorb odors, and they can also end up with a little ice cream or something similar on them during the summer. Cigarette smoke and sweat are the worst, though, as they can settle into the seat belt and make the whole car smell bad. Here’s how to fix it:
– Pull out the seat belt and attach a binder clip to it.
– Clean the belt with soap and lukewarm water. If the belts are really dirty, you may need to scrub them with a soft nail brush and soap. If so, scrub along the belt, not across it, as this can damage the belt.
– Wipe the belt clean with a lightly dampened cloth.
– Leave the clip in place so the belt can dry in the extended position.
Vinegar
- Polish the car window with a mixture of vinegar, soap, and water.
- A picnic knife + cloth is useful for edges and corners that are otherwise difficult to clean. Never use a tool that could scratch the interior.
- Clean dusty air vents most easily with a bottle brush.
- Bad smells: leave a small bowl of vinegar in the car overnight – vinegar “eats” bad smells.
