We discuss the importance of giving things a second chance instead of throwing them away immediately. One example highlighted is the dishcloth, which is often thrown away when worn out.

Don't throw away – wash and reuse
We tend to throw away what we think has served its purpose a little too easily, but the fact is that many things actually deserve a second chance.
Take, for example, the dishcloth!
Many prefer this waffle-textured, rubbery variant over a cloth rag, and that's perfectly understandable! It has fantastic absorbency and a low price.
But when it's worn out, unfortunately, only the household waste bin applies – it cannot (as far as we know) be sorted for recycling.
We thought we'd show below how such a cloth gets a "refreshing bath" and thus a new life before it eventually ends up in the compost.
This is what it looks like, new and nice!
