How professional cleaners prevent the spread of bacteria

A very simple tip for preventing the spread of bacteria is to separate your cloths using color codes.
For almost everyone who cleans professionally, a pink/red cloth means bathroom, while a blue cloth means kitchen/living room.
By getting blue and red/pink cloths in different materials, you can easily prevent bacteria from spreading between the kitchen and bathroom at home.

  • Get cloths in two colors, store the bathroom cloths in one designated place and the kitchen cloths in another.
  • Inform everyone in the household that from now on, red/pink cloths are to be used in the bathroom and blue ones in the kitchen.
  • We also recommend keeping one ecofiber cloth in the bathroom and one in the kitchen.
  • Then remove greasy dirt, soap residue, and skin deposits with soap and ecofiber. Wipe dry with a pink microfiber cloth if needed.
  • For the toilet bowl, use bathroom soap, leave it to sit, then scrub with the toilet brush.
  • Wipe the outside of the toilet with soap and a pink cloth.
  • Clean sinks and bathtubs in the same way using ecofiber and soap, then wipe them dry.
  • For taps clogged with limescale, take a plastic bag and fill it with vinegar and warm water. Secure the bag around the tap with a rubber band so that the tap is soaked in the vinegar mixture. Leave it to work, then clean with a small brush.
  • Microfiber cloths should be machine-washed at a minimum of 60*C.
