Here we show you how to easily and completely without unnecessary chemicals, clean the inside of the toilet.
Bathroom soap is basically the same superfatted soap from Västerbottenssåpa that you may already be familiar with. The difference is the scent and the packaging. Bathroom soap, instead of a pump, has a "spray cap," which allows you to turn the bottle upside down and, with a simple hand movement, apply soap to the inside of the toilet, in the bathtub, shower, or sink.
The bathroom soap also has a different scent; it has an added scent of Västerbotten forest, created by the fragrance creator A piece of by Helena in Skellefteå. Thoroughly Västerbotten, that is.
This is how you do it!
- Remove the cap and apply the soap to the inside of the toilet.

2. Then use the toilet brush to scrub lightly and create a soap lather over the entire porcelain. Also, scrub the bottom bend.
3. Let it sit for about 15 minutes, but preferably longer.
4. Then brush again, and you should see the dirt come off.
5. Flush, and your toilet is clean and nice.
If you want to keep your toilet in clean and good condition, try to repeat this and make it a weekly routine. It will facilitate your cleaning as dirt will not have time to get a foothold in the same way as it does if you wait longer.
If your toilet is still discolored in the bend, repeat the first steps in the evening before you go to bed – let the soap sit in the toilet overnight, and the next morning, you can easily scrub off the dirt/discoloration with the toilet brush.
If discoloration still remains, it is probably not biological but discoloration of metal (green discoloration comes from copper pipes, for example). You can easily remove that with vinegar. Similarly, let the vinegar work for a while before scrubbing with the toilet brush.
Simple chemistry is behind it
Dirt in the bathroom is usually biological, i.e., comes from us humans who live here, animals, or the plant kingdom. To clean away that type of dirt, a product with a high pH value is needed, e.g., Västerbottenssåpa.
Dirt in the bathroom can also be greasy. You might remember the chemistry teacher's words?
Like dissolves like!
Thus, for greasy dirt, a greasy soap works best – Västerbottenssåpa is superfatted, i.e., has an excess of fat while also having a high pH value, which makes it very effective precisely in the bathroom.
Metals – corrosion, on the other hand, are most easily removed with something that has a low pH value. Vinegar works excellently!
With this simple basic chemistry, you can handle all cleaning in the bathroom without harsh and unnecessary chemicals.
