How to read the list of ingredients:

Aqua: water. Xanthan is what makes the product thick, like jelly. Xanthan is produced from sugar through fermentation. Xanthan may be used without quantity restrictions in most foods. Nonionic surfactants – nonionic / uncharged surfactants. Nonionic or uncharged surfactants are generally mild and clean without binding to or destroying the skin’s proteins. Citric acid is what makes the product acidic, with a low pH value to dissolve limescale. Citric acid occurs naturally in, among other things, lemons and is produced in animal tissue. The acid is often added to food and hygiene products as an antioxidant, to prevent fat from becoming rancid and to preserve vitamins; here, it is used to dissolve limescale. Sodium benzoate occurs naturally in, for example, lingonberries, cranberries, and cloudberries. We add a small amount of sodium benzoate to prevent the product from developing mold.
