How to clean your oven trays without unnecessary chemicals
Sara Idenfors

This needs to be said right away – it does not clean itself
Unfortunately, as the heading suggests … it takes work to get the baking trays clean. Even though household tips are circulating that make you think you only need to get out a sugar cube and a bottle of vinegar and the tray will clean itself … But that is not how it works. You have to put in a little effort, and it is entirely doable with the right tools and soap. So why should you use soap?
-Well, soap is used when the dirt is greasy or burnt and comes from organic material. And that is most often what you find in the oven. Soap, water, and a few tools are all you need; this is a true eco tip.

Use vinegar on glass and shiny surfaces that need polishing, and when the cause of the dirt is LIMESCALE, then bring out the vinegar. Using vinegar on everything is not a good strategy.
What about the oven rack? – Yes, clean it exactly as we do in the video with the baking tray.
