This is how to get a sparkling-clean kitchen with soft soap
And by that, we mean truly clean! When we clean, we want to remove dirt, but what happens when we remove dirt while adding chemicals? Does our indoor environment become cleaner, or does it perhaps become completely soiled with chemicals while smelling pleasant? Cleaning with soft soap truly cleans the indoor environment without adding chemicals, preservatives, or fragrances.
The cutting board
Wooden cutting boards often absorb dirt and food residue. Clean them with solid VästerbottensSåpa for a completely clean wooden surface.

Boil water with soft soap and let it sit for a while. Rinse it out and wash as usual.
The dining table
A major advantage of wiping the dining table with soft soap is that no chemicals are left behind to get on our hands or into our food. Wipe with a damp cloth and a little soft soap. Untreated wooden tables become very beautiful when scrubbed with soft soap. Untreated oak cannot withstand too much soft soap. The opposite is true of pine furniture, which gets a wonderfully beautiful, easy-to-clean surface from soft soap. For kitchen countertops and dining tables, we recommend soft-soap spray.
Deep-clean the kitchen in 10 easy steps, checklist
- Take care of all the dishes. Wash them and put away your clean dishes.
- Throw away all the rubbish. Sort food, food scraps, and crumbs into the compost.
- Sort the items into piles. The children’s things in one pile, items for the living room, laundry room, and storage room in others. Move the piles to the right rooms and places.
- Start with the task that takes the most time: the stove. Pull the stove out and clean behind it. Coat the oven with soft soap and water, and heat it to +100*C. Clean the baking trays and racks.
- Clean the extractor fan. Parts that can withstand it can preferably be washed in the dishwasher. Soak the other parts in hot soapy water, then wash them by hand.
- Make vinegar wraps for all faucets affected by limescale. Exactly how to do this is explained in a separate clip here on the page.
- Cabinets: Wipe the tops with a cloth and soft-soap spray, wipe underneath, then clean the doors with soft-soap spray and a cloth. Finish with a microfiber cloth to avoid a streaky result.
- Clean the tiles above the countertops and behind the stove with soft soap, eco-fiber, and a cloth.
Then wipe the baseboards in the same way. - Now clean all countertop surfaces, including the sink.
- Finish by mopping the floor.
