When it comes to cleaning the oven with soap, it is very practical to choose a soap that is solid instead of a liquid one. Why? Yes, the bottom of the oven can easily be greased with soap and left to work, but then the walls? Much harder, it runs off the walls easily. A solid soap together with only a little water produces a solid foam that does NOT run off the walls.
