Solid soap is fantastic as a stain remover and detergent. Especially greasy stains are advantageously removed with soap. Unlike liquid soap, the solid one is easier to work with and rub into the stain as it does not run out and disappear. We show below how we removed stains from a white tablecloth.
The first picture from the left shows the white tablecloth with stains from a greasy brown sauce – not good :s but don't worry, there's no danger!
The picture in the middle – Here we have applied the solid soap to all the stains. Feel free to work the soap in with a little, little water and a brush or sponge before putting it in the washing machine.
Third picture – Here the tablecloth is washed in the machine according to the washing instructions. The stains are completely gone! VästerbottensSåpa, like linseed oil soap, is superfatted, hence its remarkable ability to dissolve greasy stains.
Many of our customers who use soap specifically for stain removal believe that VästerbottensSåpa works similarly to ox gall soap with the difference that textiles do not become stiff and hard from the soap.
We are very grateful for all the nice emails we receive from you customers. They often contain tips on smart uses for VästerbottensSåpa. On this very subject of textiles and laundry, we have received several pleasant reports from customers who wash heavily soiled work clothes with VästerbottensSåpa and get fantastic results. An extra nice email came from a man who tells us that he wears out his work clothes a lot and that they are really, really dirty. For several years he has tested various strong detergents, but has now completely switched to the solid VästerbottensSåpan. He further tells us that he soaks the work clothes in warm water and a generous dollop of VästerbottensSåpa and lets them soak overnight to then run them in the washing machine as usual. The result is clean and soft work clothes with the environmentally friendly soap. Many thanks for that report!
Other reports tell, for example, that stains from beetroot and blueberries that previously were not possible to remove are easily removed with VästerbottensSåpa.
