Here, the lamp of diligence has shone from early morning to late evening all seven days of the week. We have indeed prepared for this year's soap season, and that means a lot of work for all of us here at Västerbottenssåpa. As you understand, we have had no other focus than these containers, and in the midst of all this, the chairman of the Business Association, Anders Rönnfjord, appeared with flowers and told us that we were nominated for the prestigious award Entrepreneur of the Year 2025.
You can believe that we were surprised, we who had "microwaved" oatmeal in the lunchroom for both lunch and dinner for weeks had no thought of glitter and festivities.
This Saturday was no exception! At 07:00, a usually excited group arrived at the factory, but by the afternoon we packed up, went home, and dug out the party clothes that had been hidden deep in the wardrobe. There was no time to fix hair and makeup, but by 17:30, not everyone was ready, but many of us were clean and dressed in our finest clothes on the red carpet of Hotel Wilhelmina. And guess what! When the award for Entrepreneur of the Year in Vilhelmina 2025 is to be presented, a gold envelope is opened and our name, VästerbottensSåpa, is read out!!!
Amazed and very happy, we all stepped onto the stage!
