By using, washing, and reusing this towel, you help replace a throwaway culture with a circular system.

Usage

 

  • Machine-wash the kitchen towel at 40 °C according to the washing instructions.
  • Sort the laundry by color and follow the garment’s care instructions for the best care.
  • Do not tumble-dry – air-drying is best for durability.

What sets Västerbottenssåpa apart from “ordinary” soaps bought at the grocery store?

Västerbottenssåpa is a circular product made from reused, purified, and saponified rapeseed oil—entirely without new oil raw materials. The soap has properties similar to linseed oil soap and is naturally superfatted. This means it retains a greater surplus of nourishing oils after saponification than ordinary soap from the grocery store, making it especially effective, conditioning, and replenishing for your surfaces.

Let us tell you how it all fits together

Because the soap is made from recycled raw materials—that is, it is circular—the product’s CO2 emissions are very low. One bottle of soap, including production, packaging, and transportation, has CO2 emissions of approximately 237 g. This can be compared with the emissions from producing 1 kg of palm oil, which are approximately 10 kg.
