About the Product

Wish someone a happy Midsummer with Midsummer flowers and “plopp’en” globeflowers!
Biodegradable, compostable dishcloth in a three-pack with a Midsummer greeting.

When I sat down and thought about what Midsummer means, I immediately thought of the globeflower, Trollius europaeus, which is the most beautiful flower we have (if you ask me), and together with the wood cranesbill, Geranium sylvaticum, they make the finest of Midsummer bouquets. That’s why these two became the motifs on this summer’s Midsummer dishcloth. From the very heart of Västerbotten, during the short, intense, and brightest season of summer, I wish you a happy Midsummer. Soon I’ll be heading out again with my little paint box ;)  //Sara

What sets Västerbottenssåpa apart from “ordinary” soaps bought at the grocery store?

Västerbottenssåpa is a circular product made from reused, purified, and saponified rapeseed oil—entirely without new oil raw materials. The soap has properties similar to linseed oil soap and is naturally superfatted. This means it retains a greater surplus of nourishing oils after saponification than ordinary soap from the grocery store, making it especially effective, conditioning, and replenishing for your surfaces.
