We have released a new product, a detergent that we have worked long to develop.
Our detergent contains, in addition to soap, other surfactants which are needed to wash clean with the help of a modern washing machine. Of course, you can still wash with a washboard, tub and soap, but very few of us are willing to do that today ;)

Therefore, our detergent contains soap and other surfactants! It also contains an agent that makes the detergent a little thicker and that helps to remove the dirt with the washing water, and it looks very chemical and complicated in the list of ingredients, but it is actually just wood from thinned Finnish forest that has been treated into a cellulose powder that makes our detergent a little more viscous and better at transporting out the dirt. We have a variant with perfume - Citrus and one without added fragrance so that you can choose for yourself how you want it.
The detergent is active from 30°C and up and you should always follow the washing instructions in the garments AND use your common sense. Your body has a temperature of 37°C, when you rinse a dishcloth, for example, you probably use slightly warmer water than 37°C and when you do the dishes you probably have slightly warmer water. Look at the stain and your garment, is it reasonable that this should be possible to wash away at 30°C or do you perhaps need to raise the temperature? Here you have to think a little.
Our detergent does not contain any bleach or enzymes, so it does not damage clothes with a little wool blend and it does not bleach and neither does it add any optical brightener. Bleaching wears down the fibers in the garment and shortens the garment's lifespan, instead wash white with only white, pre-treat stains and use two teaspoons of bicarbonate if you need something bleaching for your white wash.
What about lowering the temperature for the sake of the environment then? It is true that saving energy is good for the environment, but do not save so much energy that the laundry does not get clean or that you go and buy new garments because your old ones do not get clean at 20°C or 30°C. By pre-treating stains and possibly raising the temperature a little, you can actually extend the life of your garments and there we save the environment, by not buying new all the time!
1. What advantages does your detergent have compared to traditional soap?
Our detergent combines soap with other surfactants, which makes it more effective in modern washing machines. It also contains cellulose powder that helps to transport away the dirt.
2. Can you use your detergent on delicate fabrics?
Yes, since our detergent does not contain bleach or enzymes, it is gentle on delicate fabrics such as wool blends and does not bleach the clothes.
3. How does the detergent affect the environment?
By using gentle surfactants and cellulose powder from thinned Finnish forest, and by encouraging pre-treatment of stains and correct washing temperatures, our detergent helps to reduce the need to buy new clothes and thus we save the environment.
4. What temperatures are suitable for using your detergent?
The detergent is active from 30 degrees and up. It is important to follow the washing instructions in the garments and use common sense when assessing whether a stain can be washed away at lower temperatures or whether higher temperatures are needed.
