Stains in the bathroom are often extra difficult because they consist of dried toothpaste and soap and dead skin cells. Fungi and mold thrive in moist environments like the shower cabin, so you need effective products to clean.
This is where our bathroom soap comes in handy, as it is tough on all types of dirt but kind to the skin and the environment.
The bottle contains liquid, concentrated soap that effectively dissolves greasy soap residue in the bathroom and prevents the regrowth of unwanted organisms, even after dilution.
The fragrance was developed by the fragrance creator Helena Eriksson from A Piece Of – & Skellefteå and has a mild but fresh scent of Västerbotten firs.
Thanks to its clean design, you can advantageously leave the bottle in front for a nice decorative touch.

Direkt användning: Använd direkt på en trasa, svamp eller skurborste med lite ljummet vatten för att rengöra handfatet, kaklet, badkaret, duschen eller toaletten. Skölj och torka med en torr trasa. För att rengöra insidan av toalettstolen, låt ospädd såpa verka över natten och rengör sedan med toalettborsten.

Användning av utspädd såpa: Använd (2-6 msk) i 10 liter vatten, beroende på hur smutsig ytan är.

Flaskan med 0,5 liter koncentrerad såpa räcker mycket länge.

What makes Västerbottens soap different from "regular" soaps that you buy in the grocery store?
Västerbotten soap has similar properties to a linseed oil soap, which is thus an overfatted soap. Other soaps that you buy in e.g. the grocery store is not overfat and therefore not as efficient. Soaps and soaps have varying amounts of excess oils and fats, that is, the part of fat that remains after saponification. Västerbottens soap has a larger surplus and is therefore extra caring and re-greasing.

Let us tell you how it all comes together
Because the soap is made from recycled raw materials, i.e. is circular, the CO2 emissions for the product are very low. A bottle of soap including production, packaging and transport has a CO2 emission of approx. 237 g. This can be compared to the emissions for producing 1 kg of palm oil, which is approx. 10 kg.

Västerbottenssåpa sources the oil that is purified in the small factory in Vilhelmina. It is then saponified into soap

Common questions
Can I use soap to clean my bathroom?
Absolutely! Soap is basic and together with grease is what you need to dissolve all biological dirt. That is, everything that comes from us humans, which is probably where most of the dirt in the bathroom comes from.
What differentiates the bathroom soap from other soap products?
It's the same greasy and effective soap, but with a different bottle and the scent of Västerbottnis forest. The bottle can be turned upside down and is therefore more practical when cleaning the bathroom.

How do I recycle the bottles?
All our bottles must be sorted as hard plastic for recycling. The large spray bottle should be used over and over again until it is worn out. The small refills must be treated like hard plastic after they have been emptied. The refills are made from recycled plastic picked up from beaches.
