I am actually a completely hopeless artist's soul who paints rather than well and if I only have the opportunity I can lose myself in art books or my projects for hours. I can get stuck on a certain green color not being exactly as I want it and not think about much else than just this for several days. Luckily, reality calls me back at regular intervals. Laundry has to be washed, food has to be cooked and you actually have to work too ;)
But sometimes it is possible to combine and now I actually got the idea to make a little Christmas greeting and print it on a cloth. Combine business with pleasure quite simply, cleaning (a bit of my thing) and a little painting and then of course the thought came that it should be a reindeer on a cloth that you should clean with ;)
You can see the result in our webshop on November 18th.
A little Christmas greeting and a wish for a CLEAN CHRISTMAS :)

Off and on in periods I have painted all my life, with varying results, sometimes it ends up on someone's wall, sometimes it just doesn't turn out well and sometimes it simply never gets finished.
When I was a child, I realized that the roller blind in my room was a perfect canvas. I tied it to the windowsill and started a volcanic eruption in the background and fleeing dinosaurs in the middle and a row of prehistoric animals and fish in the foreground. It actually took a couple of years before I was finished and you could raise that roller blind again. My parents were not overjoyed 🙂
Nowadays I hang out in the garage and it is still the case that much, or should we say most, never gets finished.

Sometimes I try to make a portrait of relatives, friends and children.

Other times an apple blossom or a little forest is enough.

Some times I have decided that it is birds I should paint and other times I have just gone completely "bananas" with the blue tube ;)

The most fun is of course the times I get the whole family involved! Here we have all four spent an evening on the oil pastels. Can you guess who did which one?
It is me, Magnus and two children one at 20 years old and one at 11 years old who have done one each.
