You can certainly visit the Vilhelmina mountains in the summer. If you do, you'll encounter a relaxed and pleasant mountain environment, guaranteed completely without expensive brand stores. This morning we woke up to +10°C and rain showers. Since we had already decided yesterday that this Saturday would be a free Saturday, it became a mountain trip with hope for better weather. And you know what, Vojmådalen offered a break in the rain and perfectly okay mountain weather.

Dikanäs is truly one of my favorite places, it's so nice in Dikanäs and they also have perhaps Sweden's coziest café and that doesn't make things any worse.

The only downside of the day was that we actually missed Bojtikken HillBillyBand. #Typical
After visiting both the flea market and the cafe, we continued on to Kittelfjäll.

A selection of pictures from our little company. Pavlova, tiramisu with a twist.

Many places want a lot but offer little, but Pensionat Granen is the real, genuine mountain hospitality. I'm sorry to say it, but if you really want to experience this, you probably have to seek this out. It's a bit of a trip but sometimes you have to travel a bit to experience unpretentious, genuine mountain life. There aren't many places where the owner himself arranges fish for the kitchen, you know!

Dikanäs is located in Lapland, Västerbotten County, Vilhelmina Municipality, 75 km northwest of Vilhelmina town.
2. Can you visit Kittelfjäll in the summer?
It is fine to visit Kittelfjäll even in the summer. There are quite a few activities and just this Saturday we had as many as three open restaurants to choose from.
The mountains are the mountains, it can be bright sunshine and very warm, but it can also be really chilly and the weather changes quickly in the mountain world.
