About the Product

A classic dishcloth made of biodegradable cellulose and cotton—durable, absorbent, and quick-drying. Unlike synthetic cloths, it is completely plastic-free and can be composted at the end of its life. Its high absorbency makes it effective at soaking up spills, wiping surfaces, and leaving them clean and fresh.

The dishcloth is sold in assorted shades of gray and white.

    Usage

Soak the cloth in lukewarm water, wring it out, and use it with one of our soap sprays to wipe tables, kitchen worktops, bathroom fixtures, or other surfaces in the home. After use, rinse it clean, wring it out, and hang it up to dry – this will help it stay fresh for longer.

Machine wash when needed. Always use separate cloths for the kitchen and bathroom. When the cloth is worn out, you can compost it. For mirror-like surfaces, you can finish by wiping with a microfiber cloth.

What sets Västerbottenssåpa apart from “ordinary” soaps bought at the grocery store?

Västerbottenssåpa is a circular product made from reused, purified, and saponified rapeseed oil—entirely without new oil raw materials. The soap has properties similar to linseed oil soap and is naturally superfatted. This means it retains a greater surplus of nourishing oils after saponification than ordinary soap from the grocery store, making it especially effective, conditioning, and replenishing for your surfaces.
